Stop the Drugs!

Drugs problem is one of dangerous global threat to the society in the world. More complex problems in this world nowadays are causing more drugs usage as the easy exit for the patients. Many who first used the drugs became addicted. And this causes the problem. The addicted ones will spend a lot of money, cause severe health problem, and will be less or even no productive in the society. Most common addiction problems are alcohol addiction, cocaine addiction, heroin addiction, marijuana addiction, crystal meth addiction, and prescription drugs addiction.

To reduce or further eliminate this health problem, many organizations and government build drug rehabilitation center. Drug treatment consists of three steps: detox, counseling, and aftercare. Detox means detoxification, cleansing the body from the drugs contaminations by using physical treatments. In this first step, the patient’s body are treated. In counseling, the patient accompanied with counselor, uncovering past events which caused the start of drugs usage, and creating the solution for the patient. This treatment will make the patient less isolated, and make the patients welcome the environment. Aftercare treatment brings back the patients to the family and teach the patient to reject temptation of using drugs again.

To make the patient feels comfortable with the environment, the residential drug rehab is one good choice to apply. The residential rehabilitation creates a group simulation setting which helps the patient to work him/herself back to the society. In this group of patients, the drugs are forbidden, and the patient must be used to a world without drugs. In this method, the staff will have a crucial role to help the patient pass their hardest times. In the society, we could find help for the rehabilitation.
